IST – Ryszard Janikowski was founded in January 2000.

Its activities are based on over 25-year stunt and film experience of its founder. He worked as a stuntman and a stunt coordinator in over 250 fabular and television films. He was cooperating among other things with: Roman Polański („Pirates”), Franco Zefirelli („Otello”), Renni Harlin („Cutthroat Island”), Andrzej Wajda („Biesy”, „Korczak”, „Zemsta”, „Post Mortem”), Jean-Louis Daniel („Gun Blast Vodka”) and with majority of polish actors, also with stars like: Geena Davis, Matthew Modine, Steven Seagal, Rutger Hauer, Walter Matthau, Damian Thomas, Charlotte Lewis. In 1990 he won a prize „Gold Angel” on the International Festival of Stuntmans in Toulouse (France) with the group that he created : „The Pirate Gang”. The chairmen of the jury was a famous american director Irvin Kershner („Imperium kontratakuje”, „Robocop 2”). He was also cooperating with stuntman coordinators like : Vic Armstrong, Richard Graydon, William Hobbs, Tom Delmar.
